Event Details: The Wolf Tree Kindred of Laramie, Wyoming is again proud to host Laramie Pagan Pride Day on September 8th, 2012.

Pagan Pride Day is not just for Pagans, but the entire community. We are pleased to host this event to help promote tolerance and understanding of Pagan beliefs through education. We are planning on having a different charity this year for school supplies for the Laramie Montessori School. This is a charter school which opened last year in Laramie and they need the support of our community.

We ask that everyone bring some article of school or art supplies to give to them.

This event is free to the public and will be held again at Washington Park in Laramie, Wyoming near the corner of Rainbow and 18th Street.

We will not have vendors this year for many reasons. We have decided to instead focus on workshops and discussion groups. We will also be having tarot readings, rune readings, palmistry readings, aura readings, and possibly more available for a small donation all day long!

We are asking for a donation of $2 a person for the Redneck Ritual and Magical Languages workshop.  We are asking for $5 donation a person for Krista's Tea Party.  We are offering attendance for all three for $7 a person.

Description of events

Opening Ritual

 Led by Amy Bernard, this event will start at 9am.

Live Auction

 We feel the live auction will be alot of fun, as well as eleminate some problems that we had last year.  We will have books, beginner's kits, mystery baskets, and more!

Redneck Ritual Work

 This workshop will focus on the simple ritual work with what you have lying around the house.  Not all magic has to be complicated! We are asking for a donation of $2 a person please.  We will have children's activities available during this workshop.

Krista's Tea Party and Divination

 This workshop is a tea party complete with scones and loose leaf tea.  As you sip your tea and eat learn about tea leaf reading, and then use your tea to divine your future!  We ask that only those above the age of 10 participate, and we are asking for a donation of $5 a person please. We will have children's activities available during this workshop.

Relay Race and Waer Balloon War

Scheduled for between 2:30 to 3:30. These are for anyone who wants to participate! We had a great time last year, and will do so again this year!

Magical Languages

This workshop is about magical languages, their uses, a brief history, and a craft the whole family will enjoy!  We are asking for a donation of $2 a person please.

Discussion Groups

 Paganism 101:  Discussion about views on Paganism and its beliefs. Great for a beginner, but join us if you are experienced also to give pointers!

Being a Solitary Practitioner:  We know how hard it is to be a Solitary, so join this discussion and share your experiences with others!

From I-80 East:

3rd Street Exit turn R at stop sign on to 3rd Street/ N HWY 287 / N US 30 into town.
Turn R onto Sheridan Street, after the Gas-o-mat/Smoker Friendly. If you reach a stop light on Garfield Street you have gone too far.
Continue up Sheridan Street. Turn left onto 18th Street, if you reach 21st Street you have gone too far. Rainbow Ave. will be the first cross street.

From I-80 West:

Turn L onto Sheridan Street past the school playground and before the Gas-O-Mat/Smoker Friendly. If you reach the stop light on Russell Street you have gone to far. Continue up Sheridan Street. Turn left onto 18th Street, if you reach 21st Street you have gone too far. Rainbow Ave. will be the first cross street.


From 287 North:

287 North becomes 3rd Street / US 30 North.
Turn R onto Sheridan Street, after the Gas-o-mat/Smoker Friendly. If you reach a stop light on Garfield Street you have gone too far. Continue up Sheridan Street. Turn left onto 18th Street, if you reach 21st Street you have gone too far. Rainbow Ave. will be the first cross street.
